Q: How do I  join a sorority?

A: If you are interested in a Greek organization, recruitment is the time to show it. Recruitment is the period of time at the beginning of the semester when you will see a lot of organizations tabling & you can go up to them to find out more about them. Alpha Phi Gamma highly recommends that you attend at least (1) event of your choice and (1) Info Night.

Q: How much does Recruitment cost?

A: Alpha Phi Gamma’s events are free to anyone who wants to be part of our Sisterhood.

Q: What if I don’t have a ride to Recruitment events?

A: Sisters can provide rides to & from any event. Do not hesitate to let us know! Please contact us in advance so we can have it arranged for you.

Q: What is Alpha Phi Gamma?

A: We are hallmarked as the first Asian Greek organization on campus as well as the state of Arizona. We promote Asian Awareness & community service to the University & surrounding communities. Our values are scholarship & academic excellence, personal development & leadership, & of course, Sisterhood.

Q: Do you have to be Asian to join Alpha Phi Gamma?

A: No, our sorority focuses on raising Asian Awareness, not recruiting girls that are just Asian. We don’t discriminate against anyone & encourage women of all nationalities to be part of our Sisterhood.
